Need advice from experienced clan leader

Like many have already mentioned here.
It needs more time from you, by more I mean more 6-8 hours a day.

There are few newbies who are or wanna be good players and such players like to seek assistance.

I remember when I was a nob.. The clan i joined (the only clan I joined and still in it) had 5 ppl, leader hardly spoke.
How ever few others did. I being a lower level stayed in, grew up. I having time use to be mostly online which came in clan leaders sight, I was promoted to Elder, then Co-leader and finally leader.

Once i got the leader, i understood its not easy to be a leader, with every 2nd person asking, advice, monitoring donations, wars etc.

We started out with my nephew and I and my brother started playing. I got 3-4 friends started then they had friends, work friends, friends of brothers or sisters, girlfriends, had a wife of a member join. We have one random from global. It's worked out really well. Recruiting personally to friends and family is the easiest way. Recruiting from global is near worthless.

Agree with most of the other responses that you really need a small group of friends to get things going. We had 4 work friends all playing when we started a clan, we then spent time in global, inviting from leagues, forum posts etc. We all spent quite alot of time and elixir giving troops and advice to people who joined.

We've now got 21 clan members, but this quickly rockets to 50 if we drop the entry requirements right down.

It is hard work tho, not sure we'd do it again!

Honestly with the new perk system in place its incredibly difficult to start up a clan and attract solid players already used to those perks in other clans. Best thing is to find ppl in real life from work or school whatever and get the clan up n running and warring. Then like all clans you will have to make a decision later how hard u want to war and that's when after your clan has lvl5 and the donated troop upgrade already you can take it to next level.

I'm leader of a clan which has 134 wins, lvl 7, has been in U.S. top 200 for many months. I can't imagine being at your level and starting much of a successful clan, although I did end up being promoted to run the current one when I was around your level. I was lucky to have a few higher level players and that made a huge diffference. Were I in your shoes, I'd probably float from clan to clan to learn how to be leader from as many sources as possible, then when you are ready, start your own. Good luck.

Why do you need to start your own clan rather than join an already successful one?

I started mine because a group of about 10 friends all played the game and joined together to make a clan rather than all being in different clans with people we didn't know outside the game.

From there we just grew organically — some people would request from global and only those who looked worthy would be let in. We've also recently successfully merged with another clan so have a good number now.

It takes time, but I'd say join another clan as it's a lot easier than building up when you don't have a core base of people to begin with. Plus, with the introduction of the perk system unless you have a core group of friends or you're recruiting TH5-TH7 then people won't really want to join.

If you want the power then just persevere, make the clan open to anyone above x stars and kick out those who are useless as no one wants to join a clan that sucks. Get your level up quickly and stronger players will want to join you.
