I have made several clans and none of them have seemed to work out. Is it because I'm only level 65? Should I not even bother to make a clan until I am a higher level?
I need advice form and experienced clan leader. How did you get the first 10-20 people in your clan? How do you get people to stay loyal?

Just takes time and patience. Gotta make sure you're on atleast 6 hours a day when first starting a clan. No one wants to join a clan where the leader is never on and chat is stagnant
Exactly what he said. It's a lot of work to grow a clan. Much easier if you have friends to start with, 9 or more would be ideal, but 5-6 will do. Also considering your lvl, don't expect a bunch of max th9&10s to want to follow you. You'll want to recruit people near to our below your level to start. And exp can be deceiving, focus more on the and troop lvls when comparing yourself to others.

Starting from a couple of people is always going to be tough, if you can scrape up 10 from friends/school/work/family the rest is much easier.
You're also only going to be able to attract those significantly weaker than yourself.
The general clash population is full of unreasonable expectations, and always trying to scrape into the strongest clan that they don't really have any business being in. If you can offer troops to donate at least 1 level higher than they have, people might be interested.
Set to anyone can join. It isn't much of a recruiting tool, as most will be gone within seconds, but you never know.
Very good advice already posted here. I would add, that being a leader of clan is a sometimes thankless and never ending task. Recruiting never ends. Additionally, you need to determine what it is that you want from clash of clans. Being a clan leader is totally different than being a clan elder.
I personally enjoy teaching members how to play, how to war, base design, etc. It is a big time commitment but totally worth it when you see clan mates grow and learn.
u should be online and help other for clan wars u should have strategy which member attack which number thats it .u need to have high lvl troops for donation
Most successful clans we've faced generally have leaders or co-leaders near their top so its probably a good idea to build around that formula. Which means you probably need to either find a higher level co-leader or start recruiting around your level/around your townhall level. The hardest part is probably find a good co-leader or 2 to help you start the build. You need a good core to start a good clan. The probability of you finding good random people to form that core isn't very high, you probably need to look for friends outside the game to form your core. Or you can try the clan merger route.
Realistically, the forums seems to have more "leaders" and clans recruiting than those looking to join a clan (there are some but if you goto the sub sections you'll see there's way more traffic in "i need a clan" threads because everyone is recruiting while most clan recruiting posts are just bumps). Also if you go into clan merger, majority are looking to absorb or go into the clan only if they get leader. So realistically its probably not a good place to look for your core. You can try but you'll probably get more offers to join other clans than anyone forming a core with you.
I now have a lvl 6 clan (almost 7)....I'm now lvl 113.. Just takes time , dedication!.. Some ppl r just not mention to be leaders

Then the clan has trouble expanding, which is what happened to my clan a long time ago until we merged. The best way to prevent this from happening is to get help from others and really put a lot of effort into recruiting. Also having connections is a great way to get new members... like if your friends have other friends or even family that play the game and they can invite them.
Anyways, its a lot of work building and maintaining a clan. Leading a clan is not a 1 person job... you definitely need to get help. And if not... then maybe leading a clan is not the best idea for you right now. You could join a clan to learn and grow until you gain more experience and can try making another clan again.

The absolute most important thing is that you create the clan with friends. These friends are loyal, and will generally be on during the same time as you, which initiates conversation.
Spend time on your clan. Level 65 is too low if you're gonna recruit people TH7>. Focus on lower levels. The leader is always one of the strongest players in your clan.
Make an established forum post, make it look appealing. Not this 'need memebers join #1D789SXX' sh*t.
