Due to the spam, fighting, and other nonsense in global, I think you should charge 1 gem every post in global chat. This would cut down on the spamming and fighting and supercell would benefit in the process

Not to be mean or anything, but this is a horrible idea. Not that I use global much though....
This would turn global from an annoying kid playground into a dead wasteland. No one would want to spend their premium currency on something that gives them no in game benefit.
Horrible. Just horrendous, sorry, but its true. I work hard for these, Gems, now I have to pay to socialize? Just use Norsk.
I don't see how this would benefit me, you, or Supercell. It wouldn't benefit me and you because whenever I want to ask if someone wants to join my clan I have to spend a gem, and new clans would have a heck time trying to find anybody to join their clan without spending a fortune, and it wouldn't benefit Supercell, nor would it hurt them, because nobody is going to buy currency with real money just to post in global.
This is basically paying someone to use a random chatroom. Not good.

I have seen other games use this, but at the same time there was a daily reward. I guess if we got 15 free gems every day that would help. I just get frustrated trying to recruit while kids are fighting or spamming with clear chat.
Plant obstacles appear every 8 hours, added up you get 3 obstacles a day containing gems. So you already get those gems for free every day ;)Quote:

Essentially, what I mean is that to post in Global, you have to pay 1 (or however much SC decides if they approve) Gem to get X Posting Time (X being the amount of time, be it 1 minute or 24 hours, these figures here are for the example, so don't rage). In that timeframe, you can post however much you want (with limits, so spam would probably revoke it). So you might as well make it worth the Gem.
That way, for us, we don't see as much spam, "Join here" messages, or possibly virus links from bots.

Maybe 1 gem to unlock global (still bad idea) but your idea is the worst idea on the forums EVER!
Then there would be no one willing to go on, and also I tried Norsk once and it still was pretty bad. However, I did happen to stumble across a magical English global where the spam and annoying had disappeared.
