Valkyrie Needs a Makeover!!
I would like to formally request a makeover for the Valkyrie.
The reasons for my requests are the following
1. Archers have on cool green skirts with capes. The towns women walk around in cool flowing blue dresses that sweep the floor as they rush to the different areas. Why is the Valkyrie half naked? In brown? Her outfit is so not runway material.
2. Vikings are from Scandinavia. It's freezing over there. That makes her outfit insane! Power does not trump common sense....with frostbite I really doubt she'd be able to pick up her weapon.
3. The 1990s called...Xena the Warrior Princess says her sidekick Gabrielle wants her outfit back. That show doesn't even run on syndication anymore here in the US. Honestly, who in the office allowed Gabrielle to be influential on the Valkyrie's choice of clothing? They should be fired...Gabrielle was a lame sidekick.
4. Her loincloth is so long that when I last used her in battle she tripped over it and got massacred... hence i was unable to get 3 stars in my last clan battle.
5. Her bra appears to need underwire support. Do you know how uncomfortable that is during battle?
6. She had a choice between upgrading her axe and her clothing, and was forced to upgrade her axe instead to keep up with being attacked by Level 6 troops.
Seriously though. I have played video games since age 10. I game regularly with my husband, and on Sundays with 3 other guys to play FIFA and Star Wars Battlefront II. I own every console ever made except Sega Genesis and N64. I'm a regular minecrafter. I play games in my dreams while I sleep. Gaming is serious to me. It's never just a game, especially when I can take someone out.
But often times as a gamer, though, I get tired of seeing female characters looking like meat while I play. Oddly dressed in clothes uncomfortable that make no sense. Body parts just out of control. I'm one of the 2 females in my clan, and I can hold my own with many of the higher players...TH8 almost maxed out with a killer base so good that only higher TH will attack me and they barely 1 star....and I understand gaming is a guys world, but I wish sometimes we could play too without thinking, why did the creators of the game make a beloved character look like this, and is this what they think of me when they see me?
Give her clothes that go along with her wit and her strength. She wields an Labrys; let her outfit demonstrate that much power. A shiny black breastplate with a red skull on it...gloves to match...a skirt with red trim. Anything. Right now, why is she barely wearing any clothes, an ill fitting bra that's too small for her and makes her look chunky, and a loincloth...of all things...a loincloth?
That's what I would like. Reward me like I just leveled up in Phantasy Star Universe.
Perhaps some Power Ranger attire?
I think she should be dressed in Power Ranger clothing. Why? It's all flexible. She can maneuver around any wall, building, or idle Golem! And maybe they should give her one of those plastic/styrofoam axes. Her old uniform looks like she rolled around in dung all day, and fought three rhinos on the way home.
