How was Clash Of Clans created?

Hey Supercell/CoC Community,
I am a new developer and i am planning to be a game designer when i am older. I am currently 14 years old and i am wanting to be a game developer/creator so i am taking game design, GCSE ICT, etc but i am wanting to make a basic strategy game that i can just mess around with and test. Basically i want to find out how Supercell created Clash of clans because i want to make a basic game like clash of clans that only i can play just to help me with game development. If anyone can tell me how they created it i will be very grateful. Also if they created it with a game engine then please tell me the name of the game engine.

Do you really think supercell his gonna teach you how to copy their game?

I did the same thing with Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Needless to say, selling chicken is no longer a career choice for me.

If you're labeling Clash of Clans as 'basic' you need to go back to those youtube videos that gave you the idea of becoming a 'game developer'.

If you really want to get into this stuff you need to start a lot smaller.

This game is definitely not anything you can learn to make without a degree or some sort of schooling

For a copy or even anything close to CoC. All he is asking is where did they start, what software, etc.

I never said that i was gonna steal Clash of clans. And i never said that Clash of clans isnt basic, i said i wanted to make a basic game that was a strategy genre like Clash of clans. I am only wanting to find out what game engine they are using so i can make my own strategy game. I never said that Clash of clans is basic and i never said that i was gonna steal Clash of clans.

Have you tried making a game in gamemaker? ITS STILL HARD!

Before you do anything, you should probably learn some basic programming and probably C++
