Golem lv 2, th8 or th9?

How can you even consider GoWiping at TH8 with level 1 golems? :facepalm: How many 3-stars do you get?

Golem on TH8

Reason being you will have the time to gain that much DE with nothing else to do with it. As soon as you reach TH9, most of your DE will go to your AQ.

If you raid as much as I do you can gain 50K DE in less than 3 days and it should not be a problem to spend it all on your Golem.

As you approach the end of TH8, where your walls start to max out, you will be able to hold more and more Dark Elixir. This is when you finish the last Dark Troop upgrades.

Yes, getting DE at TH9 is easier, after you have been able to hold enough Elixir to upgrade your Dark Drills, your troop (gibarch), and maybe even your Queen.

The demand for Dark Elixir goes up as you move up. One source for DE disappears, when you move up .. TH7s.

Currently, I have a 5-7K minimum DE quota that I need to farm every day (6-7 raids), to keep at least one of my heroes upgrading constantly. This quota goes up, with every upgrade I manage to start.

I maxed out TH8 completely .. and the end of the TH was pure fun. I entered TH9 with full storages, i.e. enough DE to get my AQ to level 2 within the first 12 hours.
