Need help farming at masters

I'm a fairly new th9 currently at masters 1 and I need help with farming. Since my troops are at th8 level, do you guys have any tips with farming. I have been using heavy and expensive armies to hit core storages with good amount of loot, but it is very time consuming. I'm trying to stay here for the dark but would love to save the other resources as well. Also, would lowering my trophy would help?

Note: done with most of my elixir upgrades since I'm doing 8.5 for the meantime and grinding out my dark upgrades (Queen going 7 and hogs5 in the lab).

You are th 9 knowing you need more dark elixir to upgrade your heroes and dark troops so stay at your league and push to champ. Lowering your league is not a good idea. And for your farming troops i would say gowipe is more efficient way to use instead of GiBarch since you're in M1. Few th 8 is there in that league most of them are th 9's and 10.

I get lots of DE here, queen is lv20 now and both heroes are upgrading constantly

Been using gowipe, I'll try to do gibarch for 50% next time to save some dark. I have been at champ lll at the start of th9 and I had a hard time farming for elixir so I went down a bit but maybe I'll push back up for the league bonus.
