First of all, sorry if this has been covered but couldn't find.
I noticed once my AQ was level 15 that all upgrades took 1 week to finish. To gem at this time is 999 gems. With 1d21h left it's 369 gems. Obviously this isn't a linear decrease (more expensive toward the end).
Question is: has anyone done the math on this?
The last day is double the gems. Like 264 for the last day and 132 for the other 6. Not gonna do the math on the exact number but thats how its calculated.Quote:

2 days = 383 gems = 191 per day
7 days = 1000 gems = 142 per day
14 days = 1863 gems = 133 per day
has incremental gemming been ruled out? i.e. say I want to gem a day off?

Gemming time is like this: first hour costs 20 gems, the next 23 hours cost 10 gems each.
So, the cost to gem 1 day = 20+230 = 250
After that, each days costs 125 gems.
So, the cost to gem 7 days = 250 + 6 *125 = 1000 gems
It isn't linear, but it is pretty simple.
