How does it calculate trophies earned and lost? I'm TH 5 right now and I've noticed if I go to attack people that are TH 6 It'll give me a trophy range of +17-25 or so (not that I would ever win a fight with a TH6 defense) but then My defense gets steamrolled by a TH6/7 player that could never have a hope of defending against and I drop 25 trophies. Seems a little odd to me.
The trophies are calculated using the amount of trophies you and your attacker have, so if your high up, you're going to be constantly getting rekt
So when my trophy level is 1250 and the attacker is a TH6 with 1310 trophies why does he get 25 trophies from me? Seems to me like they should break things up based on TH level, especially ones with huge differences. Otherwise why bother making a defense when someone 2 TH levels above you can just steamroll you for easy trophies?
Trophies are based offer of how many one person has vs the other. Th level is not a factor at all.
You will learn quickly that cups really don't matter in this game. Why do you think so many people leave their TH exposed?
Available loot can be affected by your th level vs their th level but trophies lost earned has nothing to do with th level.Quote:

On defense, I get attacked by a TH9 (masters 1) with 3094 trophies. He gets one star and for that one star attack, 19 trophies. Bless his heart, because if he had unleashed his GoWiPe and heroes, a three star victory would have been a lock and he would have gotten 57 (yes, FIFTY SEVEN) trophies.
No, this was not a revenge attack. It was standard matchmaking. Potential 57 trophy loss through standard matchmaking.

See that's what I'm talking about, people shouldn't be up against other people 2 TH levels higher than them. It's completely unfair.
