Best "rules" for clan?

What rules or guidelines have you found to work best for your clan?

Were these established when the clan was in its infancy or after it was up and going?

Any advice for a new clan leader?

1. Use both attacks in war or boot
2. Minimum donation?
3. Don't swear?
4. Be nice?

The only rule we have is number 1. Rules 2-4 are optional. Rule 1 is not.

Mine are: no cussing, be positive, use both attacks in wars, don't ask for co

They kinda evolved with the clan, I feel if you cant or don't want to follow the rules, there is a clan out there that is a good fit for you, just have fun

Think of the clan you want and adopt rules that help you get there and keep that vision of a clan.

every clan has its own flavour and the rules that I've seen tend to match that variety.

maybe share what conceptually you'd want for a clan and I can be more help.

My advice would be to wait until you're higher than a TH8 with max TH7 buildings. But that's just me, it may be able to be pulled off. Just have fun OP.

Rather than making your own clan with minimal clan experience or game experience, I'd recommend joining other clans and finding out what works and what doesn't before making your own clan.

Many good suggestions already. Here are a few more to consider.

No player may criticize another player's war target selection. You can handle folks going too high, too low, or sniping yourself but until/unless you have co-leaders whose judgment aligns with yours, close off everyone else from mentioning it. It will cause noting but trouble.

Be active. You don't have to talk, but failing to be in a league for long periods of time or failing to make progress in some way that suggests that you don't attack often enough to be considered "active" however you define it... grounds for dismissal, especially if you get close to 50 members.

Knowing the leader in real life does not mean you can ignore the rules.

Those are the only ones off the top of my head that I hadn't seen mentioned as of 5 minutes ago. HTH

There are general rules like read the clan mails, be polite and donate as requested.

There are rules for war clans and each successful war clan must be following some rules to win wars like, attack your recommended target, mirror, call your target on clashcaller.com

Useful Piece of Advice

1. No begging for promotions
2. Attack twice in war if opted in
3. Attack highest base you feel safe attacking
4. No rushers/premmies in war
5. Don't act ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed in the chat

I agree, this is also critical. More often than not, when a clan has trouble getting members it's because the clan doesn't offer enough experience and high level troops. Most successful clans have a high level th9 or th10 at the helm or atleast as a coleader.
