Ridiculous clan members!!

So, as everyone already knows we had a war yesterday that I wasn't so happy about... Either way, win or lose, I feel like participation is a must not an option unless u have opted out of clan wars! BC of what happened, I didn't kick anyone but sent clan mail stating that they must participate and be progressing or they will be kicked! I'm not trying to be harsh, but it's the only way that the entire clan can progress as a whole! Needless to say, I've made people mad now. One guy left saying sorry I'm not progressing when I obviously wasn't talking to him BC his builders were busy!! Does anyone else have these problems or just me??? And do u think I'm asking to much to expect everyone to use both attacks in war and constantly make upgrades???

Alot people behave like that, normal case. No worry.

Some players are just plain jerks.

Start a forum recruitment thread.
Gather some good people, start afresh.

Also, if I may ask, what is your TH and XP level?

I feel like it's their game and it's not your call whether or not to say they are "progressing" their base or not. Everyone plays different and no one likes dictatorship. Sorry, just sounds like it's either your way or the highway and that sounds like a bad way to run a clan.

Everyone in war should use both attacks, and if they don't then you should kick them out.
However making everyone constantly upgrade is asking too much as some players may be casual.

My clan has a policy of "2 attacks or get kicked" and war is totally optional so no excuses
Most of the core members are used and very happy about this, so am I
The only ones that get kicked are newcomers and they don't come back, problem solved

Ok, ur right, it's their game, but if they haven't done anything for 2 weeks and they have warning then they should just not be in my clan. The clan members I was referring to we're th 3 and they still are 2 weeks later. I'm not waiting 5 years at this rate for them to even get to th5! Obviously, me letting them do what they want and use me for troops isn't working. I've donated almost 5000 troops in less than 2 weeks, so they are playing the game, just doing nothing with their bases, and even though war was attacked against us, I used both attacks and they should have too in my opinion.

Honestly unless your clan is a very competitive war clan then I wouldn't worry about making mandates and sending out clan emails about people progressing or getting kicked. Be a leader not a dictator. Lead by example offer a helping hand and not an iron fist. If someone is unable to attack in war then find out why. Ask questions maybe something happened. Make it clear to people that if they aren't sure they can attack twice that they should sit out and that it's okay to sit out.
