One of the most active players in my clan is a max TH8. He made it to 3008 trophies and gave up. He was online nonstop for days and we filled his cc over 200 times. He has over 500 attacks won this season (2 days in?) and he still couldn't make it. An average defense of his lost him 40 trophies (yeah, average) and he used every minute until every personal break he could. It is next to impossible to get to Champs as a TH8. If you do manage, you will regret it, that I can guarantee.
