Whats the minimum requirement for troops and defensive buildings before rushing TH9?

This was my thought, you think you will fend off TH9s better as a rushed TH9 with no xbows? Not really and as this poster said, now you look a whole lot more appealing to TH10s who only have a 10% loot penalty against TH9s as opposed to the 50% against TH8s.

You will basically have the same problems, maybe more so due to the TH10s stomping you and you will be forced to attack TH8s and up. I recommend staying at TH8, upgrade all you can on the backs of the TH7s and then move on. But it kind of sounds like you made up your mind so good luck to you.
