Question For Clan Leaders
I helped found our clan and have been its leader for around a year now. We do not claim to be "Elite," but we are a competitive friends and family clan. Managing the clan has been a learning experience for me as a gamer and a clasher that still continues. Early on when we were much smaller and less informed (I was a th8 when we started) we were happy to get any th9 or 10 that wanted to join. We would look at their bigger bases and drool not understanding matchmaking. We of course suffered in clan wars because of our ignorance. We were forced change how we were doing things from a fundamental standpoint.
We have been recruiting smaller bases and focusing on coaching them and helping them to develop in ways that help our clan in war. We advocate using the .5 development route (for lack of a better term) always emphasizing offensive development before adding defensive war weight. This system of in house development seems to be working. Our bases are maturing, we are actually clearing multiple enemy Th9's every war, and we putting some win streaks together ( currently 10, I know small potatoes lol)
I am curious how other clans are organizing their recruitment and development. Are you recruiting ready to war big dog bases? (max 10's with 40/40 heroes are really not beating down our door lol) Or are your clans more focused on developing in house? Obviously big name "Elite," clans are able to recruit bigger war ready bases ( close to max hero th9's and 10's) but what about the other 99% of clans? What have your experiences been and how are you getting your clan ready to compete in war?
Thanks for your time, have a good one, Clash On!
