Level 7 Dark Troop, Siege-Type Concept
Next dark troop..... The Destroyer!!

I had the original idea for this troop a year ago when I first joined the forums, but it wasn't that strong of a concept at that time. After playing more clash since then, and drawing influence from jaronhudson 15's recent Cannoneer thread, I think I have a better idea of how to structure a long range siege-type troop for the game. Clash doesn't have a unit like this yet, but I think something of this sort is worth consideration. Inherently a siege troop would seem to be OP just based off of the fact that it's a siege troop..... but Here's my take on how it could be incorporated into the game in a balanced way.....
In appearance, the Destroyer would be a giant sized wall breaker infused with the power of dark elixir, and equipped with a cannon arm it can load up with bombs that are strapped to it's back! This troop would function as a slow moving ranged troop that targets defenses, and would serve primarily as a support unit since it has low hitpoints and deals only moderate damage. Like the Cannoneer the destroyer would also have a self destruct ability, however this would be an ability that affects your OWN troops as well as the enemy..... the purpose of this being to help balance the concept out.
Stats and Characteristics:
In game troop description: This Wallbreaker's unquenchable thirst for dark elixir has transformed it into a fearsome siege weapon! Beware its self destruct though, it's so powerful even allies get hurt by its blast.
Unlocked from Dark barracks level 7 at th10! (Cost would be 5,000,000 elixir)
**Attack speed is 3.5 seconds, splash damage at 4.0 tiles range
**ranged unit, but it can only attack ground troops
*special ability: a powerful self destruct at death which affects both allies and enemies alike.
**This troop would have 4 upgrade levels (5 total):

-Lvl.5 105,000 dark
(At the first 3 levels, the appearance of the cannon on it's arm will resemble a level 8 cannon; but at level 4 and 5 it would change to have the appearance of a level 12 cannon)

***The destroyer is essentially an additional support unit similar to the archer and wizard. It's attacks are overall more like the wizard because it can deal splash damage, but is different in that it attacks slower and has more range. The greatest advantage of the destroyer is that it targets defenses directly, so if paired with a group of giants or golems it can effectively target them over enemy walls. Because they have long range, they may also be useful if paired with healers as the healer will be more likely to stay out of range of the air defenses.

**the self destruct..... The key component behind this weakness is that if one or more destroyers are grouped together (allowing them to deal much more damage) they are very vulnerable to being taken out, because if one of them dies they will all die together in the self destruction blast along with any other support troops you have nearby such as archers or wizards. This weakness forces an attacker to think very carefully about when and where to place a destroyer(s).... as they must also be on the lookout for bombs and big bombs. Even just using one destroyer can be a liability if not used carefully, ensuring it's role remains that of a support troop and not becoming an all out attack troop.
