Are max balloons good for defense in champions league?

Yeah pretty good. They can wipe out golems and heroes pretty quickly. If they attack with air they only come out when heroes come in for the town hall. They're fairly resilient to poison spells also.

If I'm facing a clan that makes it blatantly obvious that they rely on gowipes or wiwis I'll definitely load up with them....along with some rounding troops.
