wizard AI(targetting cc def troops) changed?

Anyone experiencing bad wiz ai when clearing cc troops? I usually encounter dragon and baloon as def during cc wars and always dealt with them with 3-4 wizards + archers as tank beneath the dragon. My last war wizards seems to target nearest building first instead of dragon even though im droping near it and in front of the archers who are being killed by the dragon. Did something change with the ai? Happened in both my attacks..

The agro range has been reduced greatly like 2-3 updates ago. Can't remember exactly when but basically your troops are "less sensitive" to the defending CC troops and skeleton traps. It gives them more concentration but at the same time they are not gonna jump in and help up with the CC troops unless they are right smack in the face. This applies to other units as well as you can see similar behavior in your heroes (not gonna chase off the defending CC troops from afar) and other troops.
