Ultimate Hog Rider Guide

Introduction to Hog Riders:
Hogs are the second Dark elixir troop you can unlock as early as TH7. They are widely used across TH8 and 9 and implemented into various other 3 star strategies. e.g GoHo, HoLo, HoLoWiWI, GoHoLoWI

Army:
You should bring anywhere between 16-26 hogs, plus a Golem or 2 and 1 in the cc depending on how far you need to push into the base in order to kill the queen and cc troops. You can deploy the hogs in many different ways depending on the base your attacking. e.g double bombs

Hog deployment strategies:
In a wall - spread out across one side also called 'Asian wall'
2 finger drop - fairly self explanatory, spread the hogs out so they come together later on in the raid
3 finger drop - same as above just with 3 fingers
Surgically - groups of 4-6 hogs shielded by a giant, placed around the base, usually to avoid double bombs killing lots of your hogs.

Spells:
4 Heal - if queen is easily assessable
3 Heal 1 jump - queen a bit deep into base
2 Heal 1 jump 1 rage - if queen is deep in base or you want to set off double bomb
Save your poison spell for skeleton traps when your hogs group up on a defence

This didn't live up to the billing of the ultimate hog rider guide. In fact, it didn't say anything everyone doesn't already know.

You called it "the ultimate guide". All you did was mention a couple ways to deploy them and a couple healing spells without mentioning any strategy behind it. If you tell a noob this, they'll have absolutely no idea how to attack with hogs or what to bring in what situation.

No offense to the thread creator but I have to agree with this guy. I wouldn't call that an ultimate guide either.

completely agree but noobs won't understand this much if they don't understand accessing the queen

Hard to understand what sort of unique contribution this "guide" brings that is not really covered by the multitude of hog videos provided by the sources he quotes such as OneHive and PowerBang.

If you plan on regurgitating facts that are already known, make it easier for people to understand or present the material in a unique way. Or else its not much different than just ctrl+c and ctrl+v.
