Put TH outside in corner.
Protect one type of resource at a time. Move the other resource storage to outer layer.
Oh yes it is possible!! I have level 6 archers and giants... my barbs are upgrading right now, and after this I'll do my balloons. It's simple: just barch/bam in Gold2 - Crystal 2. There's plenty of loot there. If you wanna save up, just stay active longer (which you might not be doing) and keep a farming base.Quote:

Defending your base is pointless until about max TH9 at which point you might actually defend loot.
Your problem is what drives many casual and/or ignorant players who do not care about or understand war to rush to TH10 so they can build inferno's for defending loot.
Just attack A LOT and do it wisely. Some 100 barbarians, 50 archers, 50 goblins and 10 wallbreakers army works perfect for me: it's not expensive and fast to build, and if you find abandoned bases with full mines and collectors on the outside of the base you'll get millions easily. High Silver or low Gold leagues are optimum IMHO.
The best way to defend your resources is to spend them as fast as possible, and let your TH undefended so most people will attack you just to destroy it and give you a 12 hours shell for free...
But the main key is to attack A LOT ;)

I'm th8 but I hit the loot cap every 2 days. How? Raid th9s with lvl 8 walls with 20 giant 1 healer 1 heal spell 1 rage spell 30 archers lvl 9 king and rest gobs I can get most th9s de if it's in the center. Savin for max king then goin th9 Peace
I'm th10, but th9 clan mates keep saying its easier to keep loot at crystal than in gold or silver leagues, because of almost instant th snipe at crystal. Sniping isn't common at lower leagues because of small league bonus.

This is the true my friend. We have to play a lot. That's no. 1. No.2 is barch down at silver or gold and do collectors or easy storage raids over 200 k of each. I have to play 2 hrs aday. 2 rax boosted for that time to keep things going. So the honesty is play a lot and boost your rax for faster barch. You must take some wall breakers to. Good luck
