The solution to botting - is simple.
Figure out why the player is botting; there must be something wrong with the game... the human does not want to play it - they must not be having fun...-- they are using a bot... something is wrong...
When a player resorts to using automated software - they are one step away from quitting that game .. for one reason or another... find the reason they are doing it - and solve it...
I expect most players bot because of the following reasons:
1- they are curious about software, bots, and want to test their limits technically. -
1a - no solution for this.
2 - they have limited time available each day to play; and dont have the time to farm enough money to build a proper army to attack in war the way they need to in order to win 3 stars for their clan. Or they dont have the money needed to upgrade buildings - builders may be sitting round idle - things get expensive eventually... it could take a casual player a few weeks just to get enough to upgrade one item (if they play for 5 minutes a day)
2a-- solution here is for them to PAY REAL MONEY - buy gems - use gems to buy gold / elixer and upgrade things...
2b- if they have no spare money to spend on the game - there is no solution for this
2c- make things cost less;
3d - allowing players to keep upgrading collectors - elixer and gold - forever.. let them have level 50 gold pumps that get them a million gold a day... (well not that much; but you get the idea)
3 - they enjoy Clan war - but not Farming battles...
3a - increase the war loot in clan wars.
3b - allow multiple clan wars at the same time
3c - allow fast paced clan wars with 1 hour prep time followed by a 4 or 6 hour war time - you could run 2 or 3 wars a day in your clan; really increasing your cash flow.
4 - they want to scam you and advertise websites
4a - have a volunteer team of tech people perform various attacks against any websites that advertise this way.
4b - let supercell license them as paid advertisers - let them come and go at their whim- even if your clan is full... let them try to sell you all kinds of random junk as long as they keep paying supercell for the privilege.
(please DONT.. i will quit the game if they do that)
