I think it would be cool and make the game better if you could search the name a specific clan for clan wars or village for normal raids. For clan wars you would have to get your clan war battle request accepted by the clan your challenging, that way noone can complain that its unfair or one–sided. Your thoughts? I really want to know of any upsides or downside you might think of, thanks! —Rustydusty
Searching for raids: Too exploitable. People would challenge their secondary accounts which are waiting with the storages and collectors outside, ready to farm. Also would allow people to transfer loot between them, even if they aren't necessarily the same person. Between clan members, they could search each other and transfer loot when they need more for an upgrade.
Search for wars: Too exploitable and would ruin the clan wars. First, it would be abused by those clans with academies or sister clans, where they would only war them and get constant wins, war loot, stars. Second, this would ruin the clan wars since a lot of clans would either use their academy clan to farm or create one to do so, and the game would lose a lot of clans form the matching queue. So, it will be harder for the game to match clans, taking much longer and giving more unbalanced wars.
In short, no for both.
