Hard to reach champions with maxed TH9?

Hi,

Do you think that it's hard to reach Champions with maxed TH9? It's getting really hard to me, I search for TH snipping while my troops are ready.

My troops usually are: 2 or 3 golems, 15 wizards, 1 or 2 pekkas, 6 wall breakers, the King (LVL15) and some archers or minions for clean. (My AQ is sleeping). The spells, 1 jump, 2 heals, 1 poison and 1 Rage.

The problem is that I'm on Masters I, but most TH9 or TH8 rivals doesn't usually give more than 7-10 trophies making 3*, but I fail, I lose 30-33 trophies. Also, most of the rivals are TH10, and is very risky trying to get a star from them, because a simple error can make me lost lots of trophies.

TH snipping is also a waste of time, usually 1 or 2 trophies, and I can't also find to many of them.

What do you do to reach champions? Any magical tactic?

No, its not hard at all, just keep nexting till you find a good trophy offer th9.
Patience my friend, That was my problem.

I used a simple GiBarch army going for a 2 star, its not that hard.

I just made it to Champions as a maxed TH9 two days ago. My army comp was 2 Golem, 3 PEKKA, 18 Wizards, 6 Wall Breakers and 6 L7 Giants in my CC.

I found that if I left my TH out, I would get sniped for two to seven trophies while I picked up 16-29 (odd 33) on each raid. One recommendation I would give you is not to fear TH10s with weak walls (L7) and L1 Infernos. I got tired of nexting at one point and decided to try and hit one of these rushers, and to my delight I two starred him taking out both ITs. From then on, every time I seen such a TH10 village, I went after it always coming out victorious.

Not hard, try loonion and don't attack a base unless you are confident you can win it.

Sometimes that I've been desperated pressing next I attacked some th10, but it's really danger, because if I fail I can lose the work of a pair of hours.

I lost patients on my last run to Champion as a maxed def, maxed de troops TH9. I'll try again once I get my heroes a bit higher.

I also tried a Troll base, but it works only to reach Cristal I, after this it's defeated always :p, there, people don't joke.

You will need to next alot on your road to champs no matter what army you have trained. Oh, and put in alot of hrs too.

I think surgical loons is faster in pushing to champ. Currently pushing to titan with it (3921 cups).

I found it easier than I originally thought and agree with others using hounds and loons once you reach masters I.

I know, but this tactic need to be prepared a bit, I usually use it at war, but preparing really good the attack.

What is your army composition of surgical loons? I use 24 loons 50 minions cc loons/lava 3 rage 1 poison 2 haste. it works wonder for me. Whenever I snipe a th10, i also try to get the 2nd star. I also queue loons, minions and spells so after my raid I can immediately look for snipe.

I read surgical hogs :facepalm:, I've never used surgical loons, maybe I'll give it a try. At least I think that I'll have lots of more choices to get trophies because it's faster than GOWIPE.

I am TH9 currently farming walls & heroes at around 3200, the last 100 or so trophies is the worst, need to next a lot to find bases with good cup offerings, if you are patient can find TH8 or TH9 which gives 30 cups. I settle for any offering over 20 cups when trophy hunting. I wish a lot more TH8 & TH9 move to champions league for the league bonus and more bases become available.

I did this with my mini account which is a fairly new TH9, I had lvl10 king and queen at the time too. I found it very easy with lvl 5 Hogs. My army composition is:

6 x Wall breaker
12 x Wizard
32 x Hog
Lvl 10 King
Lvl 10 Queen
1 x Golem (in CC - although this was only used occasionally)
4 x Heal
1 x Poison

I just targeted TH9's and the occasional TH8 that I came across. There are a very few farming bases out there that are designed to resist a good hog attack, I very rarely came across a base with a double giant bomb anywhere. Not only was this a good composition to take out maxxed TH9's but was also really fun. I now farm in Masters 1 with this combo very successfully :cool:

I did it all with loonion, usually 20-60. Non boost so when you spend 20 minutes nexting it doesn't matter. Most of it was at least one hero down. Mostly snipes, TH8's that give more than 15 trophies for 3 star or 18+ for 2 star on TH9's. Attacking th10 not reccomended unless they are big premmies. The last 100 i couldn't find a raid and I had mostly red attack log with gowiwipe variations. Loonion plus snipes is the way. And stay there, bonus is awesome, I love farming in masters with loonion :o

One more thing: TH in the corner, find a base hard to barch for 50%. Or you can try some ultra troll design (obviously trapped, teslas and traps are for noobs and have no effect, such as filled storages protecting the TH along with xbows, WT and teslas, I have seen won 2/3 of defenses with base like that)

just be prepared to next alot choose wisely and dont loose.

Finally I reached Champions III, but I'm not able to surpass 3205 Trophies :p, when I reach this, the system stars to offer me only strong TH10 enemies, I tried nexting for two hours and only two TH9 giving me 1 or 2 trophies.

Then I failed pressing next, and lose 39 Trophies (I pressed out of the button xD), and in 3150 started to appear TH9s with good loot or THs to snipe again. Then I reached 3200 again, and started to find only TH10 ... is really strange, but the system doesn't want that I go up.

Anyway I'm happy, I've farmed around 75.000 DE and 20.000.000 of gold / elixir in the last three days.

It took me 3 days from 2200-3200 as a new th9. Champs is cakes.

Super queen all the way from masters 3.

It's really easy for you to get till 3100 as a Maxed Th9.

After that, the last 100 become relatively harder since you mostly end up finding Th10s & Th9s only show up for less than 10 trophy offers. That's when you can either Th snipe or take 1 stars on Th10s with Loonion

It is not that hard to reach champs as a th9 maxed or otherwise. I am not a farmer and I don't really care about trophies or league badges. I just pushed to champ to get those 2,000 free gems. All I used is the AQ with 8-10 healers, minions, and sometimes a few breakers(some call this SuperQueen). This attack is virtually unstoppable going against TH9's. You can always get to the TH and the DE storage which gets 2* everytime. Then just leave your TH outside, you will lose less trophies than you would in some futile attempt at getting a defense vs the myriad of TH10's. Good luck, Clash On!

Lol yeah I love using that quad EQ with this comp also. The AQ just stroll right into the core.

Not really bud. Not after the addition of titan and legend league. As a maxed TH9 I reached champion by winning plenty of defenses (+20/30 cups) and 50% or 2 starring bases by loonions. Yes it need patience but for a max TH9 to reach champ is still quite easy. Good luck there!

very possible, but like all pushing activity it requires patience and caution. put your hall out and enemies will spare your base, attack bases you know you could at least one star and try to aim for good cup counts.

Just barch and understand that a th9 worth 5 cups is a good offer. Dont expect those 30 cup offers..
M3 to Champ should take about 1 week if u play like 1 hour a day, atleast that is my experience

No it is not easy. But it's not impossible. Here's how I did it as a new th9 golems lvl 3 witches lvl 1 pekka lvl 3 heroes 10 / 5

In masters 1 to champs I exclusively used gowiwipe. Itz what I found was the most cost efficient and I got good at getting the two star with it. Even on max th9s. (That's all I could find in masters 1)

2 golems 2 witches 2 pekkas 16 wiz 10 wb
2 rage 1 heal 1 jump. (Use heal and jump in emergencies. Try to save)

Split barracks up like this for optimal training time.

2x. 7 wiz 2 wb 1 archer.
2x. 1 pekka 1 wiz 3 wb
2x. 1 golem 1 witch.

If u only used two rages then this army takes 65 minuites to train and it's very strong at getting to the th if you can funnel effectively.

I know I could have used other comps but I found this to be the most cost efficient, the most fun, and the most reliable. Yes I had to next for maybe 5 minuites to find a decent (teens) 2 star offer on a max th9 but it wasnt too bad.
