TH9 farming VS TH10 farming

Ok guys I got a question and I would really like to hear your honest opinions about this. Some elders in our clan(including me) are having a big discussion whether farming as a TH10 is just as profitable as farming as a TH9.

How much gold do you raid PER HOUR as a TH10 and how much gold PER HOUR did you raid as a TH9? Besides that how are your general farming experience as a TH10?

I would really like to hear some opinions from people that are having experience with both TH levels.

Haha well I do because a certain quantity per day still doesn't say anything as that can be looted in 4, 7 or 16 hours. But a comparison in gold per day could also be useful info ;)

I think I get about 800k in a few hours but I am TH7 so I can't really compare to you. I am at the 1600-1700 trophy range and go for battles with at least 100k gold sometimes getting 200k or even 350k gold in a battle since there are premature TH9 and 10s that give me a lot of gold.

Imho, from reading around here, it seems that good farmers are good farmers at any th level.

This is a no brainer. Being a TH10, you basically take TH8 off the menu and are forced to attack TH9. Attacking a TH9 requires more expensive troops to be successful, unless you find abandoned bases.

Obviously TH9 is more profitable. Simple mathematical knowledge answers that. If a TH10 and a TH9 both attack the same base, the TH9 will get more loot.

The math says whoever can attack more often per hour at the highest profit margin will make more, regardless of th level. A th 7 attacking a Th9 once per 90 minutes with all dragons might make 1 million combined, or 666k per hour, for a net profit of 700k, or 266k/hour. A th 10 attacking 10 times at 30k profit per attack per hour with lvl 5-6 barbs/archers will make 300k profit, or 34k more per hour than the th7.

The better player will make more, regardless of th.

TH9 obviously its like comparing th8 to th9 who would come out on top th8 its just common sense

The OP was asking if a TH10 was as profitable as a TH9. Obviously when comparing the two you need to take into consideration the TH loot penalty. It is mathematically impossible for a TH10 to acquire more loot then a TH9.

Only if they increased the level for tier 1 troops (TH10 exclusive) would there be another consideration to the equation.
