Guy is right, you know. So many people I've met, especially in the hardcore war clans, buy gems only so that they could speed up hero upgrade times, so that heroes would be available for next war.

Unavailable heroes is a major cash-cow for them. No one likes it, but its a major source of income for them.

The reality is these are all just challenges of the game. Waiting is hard. Nexting is frustrating. Zapping is terrible (oh wait they fixed that). It's a love hate relationship. But I for one keep coming back and I bet you do too. I get sometimes it is therapeutic to vent.

I brought this up with SC last week, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that it will be fixed. No promises though.

make a better and more profitable game if you're so savvy.

People whine about heroes during war more than anything else but it's not like other people aren't dealing with the same thing. The playing field is even.

I'm not sure I would consider war to be the main part of the game either.

Look at all the top players with max heros. Then look at their DE accomplishment. Does it line up? In most cases likely not. Its a fact some people gem heros so they have them for war. Heros must be a huge money maker for SC or they would have given them to us from the beginning just like upgrading defenses. You dont need proof, its just obvious to anyone paying attention.

We "literally" have 6-10 people out of wars, every war, as they wait for the heroes. Obviously SC does it for money, but doesn't make the game fun and playable for them in the long run.

And how many "top players" are there? You're going to use an extremely tiny sample of all the players in the game as a basis for judgement? Seems legit.
