As the leader of a small clan I like this idea. I often login the game just to see if one of the members request something.

I would lose my entire battery during the day if this was implemented. Not a terribly great idea.

Instead of notification for troops request, which is a horrible idea although the passion was there, there should be a notification for when heroes get done being healed. There are so many times when my camps and barracks are full but I need my heroes to attack with me, but I don't know they're ready unless I manually check.
That kind of notification will help me prepare myself.
There's a middle ground here - place an indicator below the new message count to show that there is an active request in the clan chat window. That way you know before opening clan chat whether new messages are just dialogue or open requests.
It would be nice two know when your clanmates request and when your clan Castle get troops for small and/or not very active clans but for active and big clans, it's not necessary.
BTW, ideas should be posted in ideas and requests sub-forum 😀👍.
