Maybe it's pressurized lava. I mean, the human body is mostly water, but turn a fire hose or a pressure washer on someone and you can do some SERIOUS damage.
This does seem logical, but would make Lava Hounds much more OP. There would probably have to be a nerf to combat the Lava Hound's new Resisitance to Inferno Towers.
maybe just have them be slightly resistant to the IT like a 25% damage reduction. I wonder how much of an effect that would have though.
Huh. This is one of those ideas where logically they would make sense, but might not actually improve gameplay. The thing is, the Clash of Clans team is about a dozen people or so. They really need to be conservative.
It would certainly change gameplay. Getting three stars is hard on th10s. As a th9 in mismatched wars, we sometimes (this is rare, I'm not by any means complaining about war match ups because we also get some where we are way better than the other clan) have to have a th9 attack a th10 with infernos. Making them invulnerable to infernos would make hounds OP, but a damage reduction would be smart. Unless, infernos simply don't target the hounds. Can you imagine watching an attack with four or five hounds attacking your towers and doing no damage? They could adjust AI so IT ignore them though.
Okay, lets try to make it logical
Lava hounds are made up of some thick brown substance (seems like rock or something) and IT is attacking on its rock suit. And inside the rock suite its lava. When the lava hound is down (when the suit gets broken) it explodes. Then comes the real lava "the lava pup". Now lava pup is pure lava.
So lava pup should be made invulnerable for IT, not lava hounds.
What do you think huh?
I don't mind this really. I get supercell needs ppl to invest in walls to make things profitable but the vast majority of updates has went into nerfing air attacks. First it was one blower. Now it's two. IT set to single, SAM's, upgraded AD Lavas have so much to worry about.
Hmm. How about golem turn into a lava hound that does not fly after getting damaged by IT? and then becoming invurnerable to it. Pretty good idea right ? RIGHT ?
Would be far too OP. If anything the Dragon should have some resistance against it.
This might be too OP. The only buildings that could deal high damages to lavas are single target ITs and ADs. Giving it resistance from fire damages might make th10s easier to be 3 starred.
Humans are made out of water and can be killed by water so I'm afraid it makes sense that lava kills lava hounds. :cool:
This is just factually incorrect. Air defenses do large amounts of damage. IT nerf them quickly when set to single. SAM's deal 2K damage each. Then you have AT and WT widdling them away. Xbows shooting them down as well. Blowers moving them away from AD. Sure it might make it easier but it would still not be any sort of walk in the park.
This kinda makes sense. But think about it, a bomb can destroy a bomb. Let's say I'm a bomb and a bomb hits me. Bets are, I'm gonna die.
We are not "made of" water. We have a high amount in our bodies, but we are not made of it.
Any who, on to the topic. I think making them immune would be too OP, and having ITs ignore them would make it even harder to attack, as the tank would no longer be tanking for one of the most dangerous buildings. As others have suggested, giving a damage reduction would probably be the best option.
