interchangeable heroes?

Someone has had to have had this idea before no??

There should be more hero options for a base rather than just the barbarian king and archer queen.... but no base should ever have more than 2 total heroes at a time.

I think there should be additional heroes added to the game, and the ability to switch out existing ones should be added (for a moderate cost). I don't think it would be hard, itd be the same thing as selling back decorations.... they never really disappear because you can buy them back at any time.

I think it'd be a cool way to add in some new strategies, what do you all think?

The only problem with this is if you have more and you can only take 2, then you can totally ignore the health of the heroes and that they get damaged.. because you have another to swap it when you get back. You wouldn't care much if the queen was hurt, because you would then take the wizard and by the time the wizard is hurt, your queen is back. In this way, you would keep using the heroes not caring if they get hurt.

Well I did suggest that each time you swap out there should be a moderate cost, maybe 2000 dark per swap after the initial cost to unlock a hero? I think most ppl would hold off and save their resources.

Then again, a rule could just be put in that while a hero is healing or upgrading it can no longer be switched out until it's done

I agree with Devil.
TBH, I don't want any more heroes. The first 2 troops are good enough.

There comes a time when 2000 DE doesn't mean anything anymore.

But not til you are a higher level in DE production (Idea isn't to bankrupt you each time though). I'm not saying that the king and queen aren't cool I like both, I just think it'd be interesting to see alternatives that might incorporate a tweak to attack strategies. Imagine subbing out the archer queen for a massive minion type hero, which would fight in a similar way but be flying, or subbing out the king for an even tankier giant type hero.

After th8, 2k de is nothing. It would be abused. What would you propose for a defensive strategy? Only two defend? All defend? I wouldn't be opposed to a new hero, though they would need to reduce training cost of upgrading heroes.

Like I said I think there should only be at max 2 heroes to a base, whether it's defending or attacking.

And I guess thats true, maybe 5000 then? 10000??? I don't think it should be too high because remember it's just the cost to swap.... You still have to shell out ♥♥♥♥ loads of dark elixir to unlock each new hero before swapping it in or out is even an available option.... not to mention upgrading each new hero from level one onwards.

Maybe at level 1 the swap can be 2000 and every time a hero gains a level it adds 100 to their swap cost

Easy. Switched out heroes, if damaged, pause self-healing.

If this was implemented the required DE sould be like 150000 so that it is not abused and so that you will be required to keep that hero for long periods of time. Also to keep people on the barb k and arch q

I think the idea should be to encourage mixing and matching.... Maybe instead of barbarian king and archer queen someone would prefer barbarian king and minion lord as their favorite set up you know? If someone liked that set up they'd probably keep it a long while.

I don't think adding new heroes would take anything away from the barb k and the arch q..... I think it'd just add more options for strategy and how you wanna attack or defend (so long as new heroes are balanced)

But I've seen what maxed heroes can do, they kick ***

Doesn't change the fact that having alternatives could be cool too. It's just an idea.

I thought the AQ takes more than 30 minutes to regenerate...
