New Defense: Catapult
Hello Guys,
first my english is not very goot but I try my best.
I posted in the german CoC Forum my Idea. (Can I post the link here, if someone speak german and can translate it?)
The catapult is like the mortar but it has more dmg and less attack speed and some other changes, read below.
If you click on the mortar there is a button in bar. It brings you to a new window where you can change the type of attack:
1. Option is like a big rock it make big damage on one field to all troops.
2. Option is like many little rocks they make less damage on more fields.
You can upgrade your rocks with dark elixir for burning rocks (Damage over time) or sticky substance (Slowdown).
Projectile: A big rock
Range: 7 - 11 Fields
Damage Type: AoE (1 Field)
Targets: Ground- Airtroops
Preferred Targets: -
Attack Speed: 15sec
Attachment 133297 (Level, Costs, Duration, Damage/s, Damage/Shoot, Health, TH Level, EP)
Projectile: Many little rocks
Range: 6 - 14 Fields
Damage Type: AoE (3x3 Fields)
Targets: Ground- Airtroops
Preferred Targets: -
Attack Speed: 10sec
Attachment 133298(Level, Costs, Duration, Damage/s, Damage/Shoot, Health, TH Level, EP)
Minions will make *x Damage on catapult.
You can only build one catapult.
Minions Preferred Targets: Catapult.
The catapult might look like a bowl with a sprial spring underneath. Next to the bowl is a sh.ack with a ramp where new rocks rolling into bowl for next shoot.

Your idea seems intresting to me. But no hope, this is a ruled out idea. I dont know why they ruled out catapult, but they did. 😩

When I saw catapult I was like "so it's a mortar" but maybe adding a feature to the mortar changing the attack type would be a nice change. Just like the inferno tower and crossbow can maybe something could happen with the mortor. It probably isn't needed but maybe.
