Anyone know what the maintenance break was for?

I don't see any news posted on the announcement sub regarding the 30 minute break about 12 hours ago.

Maintenance breaks are to fix and improve servers and things related to this.
Most of the time, the specific reason is not mentioned but the general reason in mentioned on twitter and facebook.

If the maintenance break is important like the one which reversed the wallbreaker AI after the July 2015 update, the reason will be mentioned on Facebook, Twitter and on the forums.

Thx mido. I didn't se anything on FB before posting the question...which had me thinking SC was tweaking AI or matchmaking algorithms.

ETA- in the middle of a war, so I always hate those "unannounced" breaks during one.

I know it wasn't to fix the troop swapping bug as I did my first war raids since the fix last night...and it is fixed.....Thank you, thank you, thank you.......(now i need a new excuse for fails)

It was for the serverlag. Delayed chat and forever loading in clan war. :)

I didn't notice the break u are talking about and didn't find anything about it on twitter, weird.
Maybe it was a fast one and accouncing it was not necessary.
.
As for war, the time gets paused until the break is over or more time is added to the war.

It was I believe for the chat lag, members were being shown as not in clans, players couldn't switch accounts last night ETC

And as for troops yes I agree they did sort it out as I did 1 war attack last night and not one mis-drop(Spells dropped spot on)i did a GOWIPE (3* ON THIER #2, I'm # 3)
And a draghog on my opposite this morning and heals and rage changed real quick and that was a 3*
I have been hitting 1 stars on same attacks and base types since July update..So yep agree the troop switching has been worked on

Sorry make the attacks the other way round

30 minutes, so wasn't that quick.

I'm not worried about the war timer- it's the attacks that go right after a break that concern me. Not knowing if something has been changed with the wall breakers or AQ AI...and then we have attacks going in.
