Trick to get easy DE at TH7/TH8 as there is no Zapping now

Hey every one,
I have two coc accounts, one is full maxed th8 and other is very early TH7.
In old days when zapping was possible , many of us early th7 players used to zap our way to get the king. But now Zapping has stopped, i found it hard to collect dark elixir required to get my king.
After like a day of farming in silver II i collected only like 1500 dark elixir. So i decided to try something else.
In my experience it was easy to farm dark elixir at higher leagues, so i decided to put farming on hold for a while and starting pushing, i targeted reaching to crystal 3 atleast. And with in few hours i reached crystal III.
But amazing thing is while pushing to crystal i found many abandoned th9/ th10 bases in gold II and I with full DE Drills. So way before i could reach crystal i had my DE storage was full, and i bought the king, and by the time i reached crystal my DE storage was full with 10k DE again , Sadly DE storage upgrade needed 2 days, and for those 2 days i wasted like 10-15 k dark elixir which i had no space for storing.
In crystal III league you get 100 free de each time you one star a base , so just by sniping town halls u can get sufficient dark elixir required for your king upgrades.
So in last 4 days
I have bought my king.
Wasted 10-15k dark elixir while my DE storage was upgrading.
Upgraded my king to lvl 2
now farming to get 15k DE required for king to lvl3.
So Its best if you farm in crystal 3. You get sufficient abandoned bases and snipeable townhalls there.
