Don't worry about maxing all research before moving on...just your spells, your farming comp and your go to war comp...it wasn't until late TH 9 that I ever upgraded hogs and drags, I'm a late stage TH 10 now and I still haven't touched valks. So yeah, just do the stuff that's important to you and go to TH 9, it's a happier place, just don't insist that Supercell has to do something or another about it
Don't waste your time sitting on full storages like I did. At TH9, you need at LEAST 6 months to do heroes, and it usually takes players about 9 months to max everything and by that time, the lab is already done. So, if you skip a few things at TH8, don't worry! It will balance itself out at TH9.
I agree with some of the posters. By now you have probably figured out your commonly used war troops and your raid troops. Just do what you use most and then go up to 9 if you want. My lab priority:
Drag -> 3
Valk -> 2
Wiz -> 5
Loon -> 5
WB -> 5
Heal -> 5
Rage -> 5
Golem -> 2
Barb -> 5
Arch -> 5
Pekka -> 2
Giant -> 5
Minion -> 3
Pekka -> 3
Minion -> 4
Hogs....if I get around to it....
Basically, I am going to go down that list and as long as I get through Giant to lvl 5, I'll feel fine about upgrading. My goal is bullet walls or finish labbing....whatever comes first. Prioritize is the name of the game.....though Golem may slot further down the list as I keep upgrading my king whenever I have enough DE.
There, I fixed it to more accurately reflect being able to 3 star the most TH8 bases possible. Leveling troops>>>>leveling up your king for three star runs. Anyway, other benefit of doing it in this order is that DE and elixir upgrades are more or less alternating to give you time to get the other resource up and ready.Quote:
