Good tips, and happy to see they are without lame lightning attached.
As a TH7 I farmed all my dark elixir getting above 1,500 cups and using 6-8 dragons per raid. Tossing in some archers and minions to help usher the dragons into the core and remove clan castle troops.
I carry 2 rage spells to turn dragons into super dragons. And 1 lightning; just in case castle troops cannot be lured and cause problems in the guts of a base.
Dragons work well and I did the same thing at th7, the main problem with drags is that they can be a bit stupid and just wander off somewhere.(silly dragons:p) Rage helps thoughQuote:

First, just wanted to mention that this strategy may not fit all players, but fits me perfectly as, just like the OP, I don't always stay connected to farm like crazy but also have some work to do, so I just log 1-2 times per hour to attack when my army is completed. Moreover, I'm upgrading last Barrack to Lv10 so my army takes even longer to complete.
Here is my last battle logs, last 6 attacks, still 100% success :

That's around 8K DE in 6 raids.

As mentionned in my previous post, I was just starting this strategy when I found this base so, I was still in the process of training, I did some mistakes but that's how you improve and learn from your mistakes, no fear to try.
- I had 4 Wizards but don't know why, deployed only 3, I noticed it and it came out lately
- I used 2 Rage Spells, I decided it was worth it for 4.2K DE, but in the future I'll try to use only one
- my Goblins went the wrong way, should have deployed 1-2 to test their path before deploying them all
- fortunately I had my mid-SuperHero Lv10 to destroy the DE storage
- Minions were deployed correctly to take AirDefense fire and protect Healers
I will keep using this strategy until maxed storage, which will occur soon, so I can provide some more feedback before reaching TH9.
I asked some clanmates to prepare Wizards so now I have 4 + 5 CC Wizards each time, which helps a lot.
Ow and I'll have to go back to old school farm strategy to max 6M Gold for double Crossbows.

You're right, you need this type of strategy to fit with your life. Currently I only get to play in the evenings for a few hours. Due to this i'm severely limited to only using farming armies - either that or only battle 3 to 4 times max a night.
I'm still able to utilise some of these tips and progress with DE farming with my TH8 but realise it becomes very powerful at TH9. Those level 6 giants refuse to die!
You're about 2 to 3 weeks ahead of me. How long do you have before TH9? Enough time to spend that DE upgrading Golems and refilling the DE again for AQ?
Would like to see a few more videos if you get chance.

The worse it's going to do is slightly delay your lab upgrade at TH9 by 3 days. I could live with this.

Why you want to upgrade golem now? Upgrade it after Valkyrie is fully upgraded. Valks are great for critical defense donations, as they are probably the best CC troop for defense.
I just want to say this before you decide to cancel the Heal spell, lol.
