TH10 Dark barrack troop : The Sorcerer
"Where magic meets dark elixir , it's the sorcerer who has combined both the magic and dark elixir. It is stronger then both witch and wizard combined and hence is clearly the master of all offensive magics ."
The master of the magic , the sorcerer is a very powerful troop unlocked at TH10 . This troop marks the most powerful magic and is handled by a very able Sorcerer !! His sheer attack is sure to blow you apart !
Appearance :
It wears a metal grey mask concealing it's identity and gender. A white robe with golden lining marks his power and grandeur . It looks like a wizard but bigger and grander . Its projectiles are white arrow like lines that do severe damage to multiple buildings . It area damage is like very faint white circles emitting from it. His left land has 3 magic rings :
Index finger : Red Ruby : Marks the ability to use direct damaging projectiles !
Middle finger : Blue diamond : Signals that it can damage multiple things around it.
Ring finger : Green emerald : Marks his pierce power !!
In the army camps , it does not respond on tapping [ cause it has too much in its mind]. Before you read the stats please be familiar with 2 terms :
Area damage : The sorcerer is so full of magic that magic burst out of him and does damage to nearby stuff. Area damage deals some damage to all enemy stuff at a 2 tile radius at 1 wave per second. All targets receive equal damage when they come too close to the sorcerer.
Pierce damage : A troop with pierce damage to a greater extent to compact bases. It will launch his magic white pins on the nearest target . The target will get damaged [ direct damage ] and the stuff behind the target will get slightly damaged [ pierce damage ]. When it shoots a target 2 tiles away , stuff even 4 tiles behind the target will be damaged. The projectile is a white magic arrow and the pierce projectile are small shards of white .
[ Pierce damage can be found in Boom Beach's Laser Beam . Technically i had invented pierce damage way earlier called linear damage in my troop Hydra , but lets not discuss it ]

Offensive strategies :
- This troop is the equivalent of wizard so can be used like it.
- GoSor ( Golems and Sorcerers ) can easily ravage a base. The golem will provide a shield while the Sorcerer will do the destruction . Jump and Heal is necessary.
- If looks upon statistically , Sorcerer is a ranged and more powerful P.E.K.K.A only with lesser HP.
- Since it has area damage , skeletons , max archers , minions will be killed in less than 4 seconds . Therefore can be used like a mini Poison spell.
- Even giants can provide suitable shield.
- Some wall breakers will do.
- As a clan castle troop it will easily kill any troop with less than 200 HP in 5 seconds directly if close. It can easily blast lava hounds , or golems and even witches skeletons.
- Carry a poison spell though in case a Sorcerer is there in the Opponent clan castle.
Defensive Strategies :
- Since this troops has 2 combined ways of attacking ( pierce and area ) , designing a base is tough.
- Killing any tank troops will make them vulnerable.
- Wall set up needs to be chambered so that tanking units take time to reach.
- Mortars can help kill them and the tanking unit if placed precisely. It has least HP per HS.
- Since it is slow , it will walk with tank units. Splash traps like giant bombs can do wonders. Skeleton traps hardly do anything.
- In the clan castle , place a Sorcerer too . If not possible then place high HP troop like lava hound [ It can kill the tank and distract the Sorcerer ].
- Set your Inferno towers to multi target mode. Only Inferno towers can save your village.
- If set with tanks they may seem OP.
Trivia
- It is believed that the sorcerer is the leader of Ivory Tower. The wizards from Ivory Tower were it's help.
- It 3 rings signify his 3 attacking styles.
- It resembles a wizard but has a female type curve.
- It's white arrow projectile symbolize pure magic . Al though it doesn't like necromancy because the skeletons are weak.
- It seems that the Sorcerer brings a revival in land attacks at TH10
- You can have a maximum of 9 Sorcerer in a max upgraded Army camp set. This number increases to 10 if 1 is donated to the clan castle. Some place is spared for back up troop.
- Unlike all other troops , this troop does not react to skeleton traps attacking him.

- The sorcerer is a TH10 Dark troops similar to a wizard but can attack in 3 diverse ways and cause damage to multiple targets and all nearby structures and troops.
- It has no preferred target . It will attack the nearest structures and cause damage to it and stuff behind it too. Also all stuff near him take up little damage.
- It fires white arrow like projectiles that deal damage.
