Exactly as the title states, I am thinking about going hard on my king when I hit TH7, but good lord thats a lot of DE. Should it take me less then 2 weeks? If so, i'll go ahead with that, otherwise i'll get my dark troops at a good place.

Probably a few days is enough, depend how much you farm and how skilled attackers tries to steal your DE
From personal experience, though I don't know if this was correct, I maxed out everything, walls, troops, and defences, and upgraded to TH8 with I think a BK 2 (farmed while I was upgrading). In the end, it worked out ok. Hope this helps!Quote:

You need to boost 2 barracks and go search for full collectors or easy storages. Few hours and your de storage is full

It was quite easy for me to farm around 3k/4k DE every day at TH7. Maybe you'll get taken 1k away from attackers but that's still enough.
If you have dragons, train mass drags overnight/when you have 90 mins off. Hit any TH7, or TH8s with 1 or 2 ADs upgrading. 3 zaps on one AD and go full attack. Easy 1000+ DE everytime
I can't remember exactly, but it took me a couple days to initially get my BK, and a couple weeks to max him to level 5 at TH7.
Now I have been at TH8 for about a month and I just started my BK level 10 upgrade last night :D
I never went went hardcore DE though, I more just did my normal farming strategy and it was a bonus when I would hit bases with a good amount of the dark stuff. I never boosted my pumps, either.
Personally when i enter to th7 I just snipe to masters and could collect 10K in 2.5 hours from bonuses.
I remember getting my bk same day I got the storage for it.
It took few weeks to get my BK to lvl 5 when I was in TH7.
try 10 WBs, 20 Giants, 20 Wizards for raids if u have excess elixir. Look at Gold III or more for higher DE.
