Need Help With TH8 Elixir Farming

I need desperate help with Elixir farming!
I am am low Gold III at the moment.
Strategies I've tried:

BArch (Cost: 60 000)
(92 Barbarians, 92 Archers, 8 Wall Breakers). Fault: There are no collector bases and BArch can't core.

GiBArch (Cost: 80 000 w/o Heal Spell, 100 000 w/)
(12 Giants(Also tried 16), 52 Barbarians, 72 Archers 8 Wall Breakers). Fault: Costs 80 000 Elixir to half the time core a base. The only effective way to do this is use a spell, which rises Elixir costs to 100 000! And you can only raid TH7s to get 200 000 Elixir AT MOST, and 2/3 of the time you can't core the TH7 w/o a spell!

Giant-Healer (Cost: 80 000)
(Same as GiBArch but with 14 less BArch and a healer). Fault: Healer gets shot down fast, turning into a GiBArch.

Strategy yet to try:

GiBAG (Cost: 70 000 w/o Heal Spell, 90 000 w/)
(12 Giants, 48 Barbarians, 48 Archers, 28 Goblins, 8 Wall Breakers).

I am actually rushing to TH9* because it's easier to farm (LVL 6 GiBarch would cost 90 000 - 110 000 to train and can flatten TH8s for 250 000 - 300 000, making profit of like 200 000 Elixir each raid). Plus TH9 is more fun.

*Do not comment about TH9 rushing. I'm just saying!

Also, what is the best TH9 farming league?

Thinking that rushing to th9 will get more loot is wrong (and i commented about it, it feels good to be a gangsta)

As a th8 I gobarched. 72 barbs 72 archers 6-8 wall breakers and the rest gobbos (iirc)



I farmed in crystal 3 for the loot bonus which almost pays for the army. No spells. Therefore any loot you get is profit! Had little trouble getting to storages on the right base. And that's the key - pick the right bases to hit

I don't know about TH9 but elixir farming is easy at TH8.

Drop down to Silver 1/2. There are plenty of collector raids.

Also, here is a good army comp for core attacks:

36 barbs
72 arch
12 giants
8 WBs
4 wiz
Heal spells

Train 9 barbs, 18 arch, 3 giants, 2 WBs, and 1 wiz in each barracks. Takes about half an hour to train. Train constant heal spells in SF

Attack TH7s or TH8s with lvl5 mortars.

Deploy giants at the side with the loot you need, with some WBs. When the giants' health goes orange, drop a heal. One heal should be enough but you can use more later in the raid. Obviously if you need elixir, try to conserve the spells.

Deploy barbs and arch like a barch attack on the same side. Deploy wiz too. Place a few more wb to get to the core and you should get the storages.

For e.g. Barch is used mainly for dead bases to attack full collectors and mines. Same like your giant healer. Giant Healer will work as far as you can identify which bases to attack. You said dont comment on th9 but the truth is th9 DE farming wont be so easy. Get your BK maxed in th8. Because in th9 you will have to do BK to 10 and AQ to 10 before you actually can use them properly. If you are rushing then rush smartly. Have a plan. For e.g. say you go to wars then Dragons wont do any good in th9. You need Golems+hogs and Lava to 3 star other th9s.

When I rush to TH9 I'm not planning to war for a while. And I will get BK 10 for sure!

Alright I'll try Silver I/II

If you cannot farm enough elixir in TH8 and rush to th9 to farm more you are in the wrong direction.
Rushing is for those who finish their elixir and de upgrades and just want to avoid max storages in th8.

Anyway, friendly debate: My GiBArch has trouble coring TH7s, while I watch Beaker's Lab and he has lvl 6 GiBArch DEMOLISHES TH8 bases. So that makes farming easier IMO.
