New defence for TH7 up

The New defence i think should be made is a dark elixir defence costing 3k dark elixir for the first build.
I call it the lightning tower. This has the same range of an cannon and targets ground and air. 1 available at th7 , 1 at th8 , 2 at th9 and 3 at th 10. There favourite target are golems and they do 1.20x damage.

Damage per shot : 210
Hp : 950
Cost : 70k dark elixir
Available : th10

The defence looks like the structure of an inferno tower except grey like a wizard tower and rough and looks similar to a wizard tower with the head of it being blue at level 1 and 2 , being a darker blue at levels 3 and 4

In my honest opinion, gold and elixir should be the only resources involved with buildings (bar reloading, of course). DE should just be kept to offensive stuff, like elixir. Your idea does seem somewhat interesting though...

It adds a more need for dark elixir rather than just your heros troops and upgrading troops and dark spell factory with dark elixir

Lightning....sooooooo...a tesla? Pretty much the same thing. Maybe an ice tower or something i dunno.

Yeah I agree just like a tesla. I like the idea of more defense but it needs to be unique

Then there should be mor elixir items, because I've had maxed elixir for a month and a half.

This would be very interesting, a defense using dark elixer. I'd like to see something like this on my base. The difference between it and a tesla is that Tesla's are traps, this wouldn't be one.

I personally do not like the idea for several reasons.

1. Range is WAY too far. A defense like this would most likely have the range of a wizard tower or cannon if it were in the game.

2. Damage too high. The damage outputs are much too high for the town hall it is available at. The x1.5 damage on golems makes the damage even more ridiculous, as it would kill a golem very quickly, let alone every other troop in the game.

3. "Lightning tower" is literally just a long-range, high-damage hidden tesla. A more creative and original idea would be better.

4. This kind of defense is unlocked far too early. A defense like this would best be unlocked at TH8 or 9. Golem-targeting buildings are irrelevant for the most part until then.

5. Only 2 of these towers should be allowed on any town hall lvl. 4 of these towers would be ridiculous, considering you want their damage to be so high and their range to cover half of the base. I recommend 1 at TH8, 2 and TH9-10 (taking into account what i said in #4).

Take this feedback into consideration, and keep trying. Remember to create a very well-balanced defense. This means appropriate damage for each level, as well as when it is unlocked and how expensive it is.

The "lightning tower" cannot be compared to a "tesla". A tesla is a hidden trap while the lightning tower is a normal defence. In comparison to a tesla , that is electric while the lightning tower fires beams of lightning.
