lure them to the corner.
Remember all the threads last year about how the trigger radius was to large and supercell went and changed it. They just can't win
I am quite happy with the change. I can't count the number of barch raids I lost in the past because my stupid troops stopped attacking buildings to deal with the CC. Back when I still barched, I wanted my troops to get 50% as quickly as possible (before the defenses took them down) and the thing that made the CC effective was not that the CC killed my troops, but that my troops stopped doing what mattered (attacking buildings) and wasted their time attacking the CC troops. I rarely killed the troops in the CC back them, but I would sometimes lure them back and forth across the base so I could destroy the buildings on the opposite side with my barch. I'm glad to hear the troops finally have better priorities. Killing CC troops neither increases loot nor win percentage so I am perfectly happy if the CC troops survive the battle, as long as I get at least 50%.
If the desire is to get 100% against a base then killing the CC troops is probably necessary (though I have had a lava hound follow my BK for a whole raid with no ill effect), but in that case it is best to lure, poison, or have a kill squad.
I have had this issue in war attacks. Pull drag and loons to corner. Drop arch and wiz to kill but they go for buildings even if the cc is between them and buildings. A little frustrating and seems to be consistant. Am moving to a tweaked version of cc kill due to this.
Yes. This is what I'm talking about. These troops that do splash damage, i.e. loons and wizards, they can wipe out an entire group of barbs or archers or whatever because the attacking troops wait to be attacked before they return fire. And when there are a group of loons or wizards, they will completely destroy them before they even have a chance to return fire. I finally had enough and started this thread when I had a full health Lvl 15 queen get completely killed without firing a single return shot at the max loons dropping bombs on her head. It happened so fast I didn't even have time to cloak, it was literally each loon dropped one bomb on her and that was enough to kill her. I know max loons are powerful enough to do that but I was still ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that she didn't fire at them while they ever so slowly made their way over to her, instead of continuing shooting at a wall or whatever it was that had her attention.
The major complaint I have is the massive wall of text I spent a few seconds looking at before deciding not read.
Maybe you've had a couple unlucky raids, but I have to say, the odds are in your favor.
SC made it so that your troops will go out of their way to kill CC troops. Also, you should be able to lure...
This is a strategy game my friend learn to attack or just use different combinations of troops. supercell is not going to change things just because cc troops are killing ur own troops. I will suggest u take some hogs with u and try ur best to lure those troops.
In order to fix it, they would have to accept it is broken.
Which they won't, and I don't think most players think it is either.
It is well known that troops which have a "favourite target" will ignore anything else, including CC troops/heroes/skeletons until all of their favourite targets are gone. The only other thing they will h8it is any walls between them and said targets.
I do think other troops should be able to break off their current target whenever defending troops come within their range.
