Game keeps crashing after latest update

I really hope Sc fixes this game ASAP. A leader was in our thread, so they know there is problem, but we can only assume that they are working to try to fix the problem. Since so many people are affected by the glitch, SC will need a update to fix it so if there is a maintenance break, then we can hope they are adjusting code in the server or prepping for the next update, which will hopefully un-glitch there game. I really think SC will fix this issue by the time next week starts but i dont know. I really miss clashing and have been raided 30-some-odd-times over the time i cant get on and I feel that the game is mocking me.:facepalm:

Thanks! I just got back into Clash about a week before the crashing.
I was really disappointed when the game stopped working, so I went straight to the forums and SC Support to try and fix the issue, and it turned out many other had the same problem, so I tried to step it up and find out a lot of info(don't know if it's useful but hopefully to SC it is) and I have been looking for fixes this whole time. Thanks again, I've been trying my best. :) If it wasn't for everyone else and Clash of Clans's great community I don't know if I would still be doing this.

I know what you mean, I was so close to upgrading to level 4 hogs when it crashed. I bet all my dark elixir is gone by now. ;-; I don't even know when SC will fix this. Lets all hope we count days... not weeks.

It's basically the same problem.. Everyone accidentally pressed the buy gems button.. Im on iPod 4th Generation, iOS 6.1.6 and it crashed when i hit the buy gem button.. I hope thy pinpoint the problem and fit it soon!

It's been know for almost a week now(I think) that we've known about it being a problem with buying gems, it's just always a good idea to double/triple check so nobody is on the wrong track and we have legit information. :)

exactly!!! i think the optional update messed up the coding for buying gems. But it does seem a little odd it only effects ioS 6.1.6 or lower. hmmmm. I have confidence SC can fix this

If it is about gems/$$$$$ they will fix it .

I personally think the 3 people who voted that we should fix it ourselves didn't read all the replies. It's impossible to fix it yourself, unless you wanna pay $150+ for a new device. ;-; I have $138 at the moment, and more games listed on ebay. I hope SC fixes this before then.

I dont get that... Why should it be our problem to fix.. We had no control over it so.. Yea.. Dont get that..

I had the same issue after i tried to purchase gems...the game crashed on my ipod 4g,BUT heres the funny thing...I backe restored my ipod to factory settings,Downloaded clash of clans again and it works fine...but I CANT RELOAD MY VILLAGE NOW BECAUSE MY DEVICE ISNT ios7...I have a 2nd ipod 4g and my account on it is working great. This whole situation is crazy,I restroed my apps and settings from itunes so i dont have to reload my village,But the loading bar gets halfway sometimes and continues to crash over and over again. I can go get a newer device,But i really dont have the cash for this...Supercell said they are trying to fix this issue with an update,I hope its soon my elixir was maxed and i had 40 waalls left before going to TH9.
