If you wouldn't be devastated, then you probably are a 2 star gowipe person, who just doesn't care about war strategy.
At late TH8 and TH9, they are one of the few real 3 star attacks. At TH10 they are still useful for pulling the CC or destroying backend defenses(or beating up a TH9 lol) or even full on raid if the base is right.
Is the hog a new kind of troop or something? DB Level 7? Its called a "Hog rider" not a "Hog" or a "Rider"

I'd say 100 because hogs are a good war troop below TH10. I can understand why all the TH10's wouldn't care at all.
Just started TH10 upgrade so soon they will be effectively removed, at least for one of my accounts. That's a big hit to attack strategy diversity, and I'm not too happy about it. For that reason I'm unlikely to ever go TH10 with the other account.
Inferno towers are powerful enough just with damage, lame that they neutralize a good troop (hogs) and a good spell (heal) so thoroughly. TH9 rocks because there are so many options to chase that third star, consensus seems to be that TH10 is lame because you have few options and forget about the third star...

I wouldn't care. I upped them to lvl 2 on my way to TH 8 just because I had extra rescources and lab time. Probably won't lab them again at all. They are not part of any strategies that I will use. Are they a viable strategy? Sure.....but I am not a fan of them because they provide too much of a 1 dimensional attack.
5, as you use them once in every 1000 raids, maybe less.

so they just sat there while do'n nothin for awhile...until I started seeing guys use em again in champ and Titan leagues...for the most part 3 starring a TH 10 was rare...but now I've revisited the Hog troop and when it all works..its awsome!

Never have have done a single hog raid in my life. I'm upgrading to Level 3 right now, and I just farmed for ages getting 40k DE for Level 4.
...and they are an instrumental piece in the attack toolkit when building a custom army at th9 and above. Every base has a weakness and you build an army to exploit it...regardless if you are an "air person" or a "ground person" (how foolish to be one or the other) I find myself with a hog component in many of my armies. 100...same score i would give to loons.

GoHoWiWi all the way. Why limit TH9 attacks to pure LaLoon attacks? Too boring. We need some variety of good 3 star strategies at TH9.
