A Few More ?s re Sell Sell Sell!!

You got het Hayday bleus.... I have been there around your level and around level 50-55 and first I found out what I liked the most to do. And for me it is the town. And then just foccussed on that part off the game. If I needen coins, coins, coins I only sold items and didn't buy anything unless it was a bargain and I could resell. It was hard but nescerary. When I needed only XP I did high xp trucks. Got rid off the lower one with more coins.

Just play and find your own strategy. I think every player has his own nice way that works. That's why I love the Derby, it makes me to do also boats, fishing and trucks which I normaly would skip unless with events. I am not a wheater but there are times I just do it for the fun.

Every EM which is over the numer I need for the next update, I sell. It gives coins and room in the barn, cause you will always have short off room. I am at level 81 and yes I am still short off room.

Sometimes I still get the bleus and just make small changes in my strategy so it is fun, or set for me one goal, like getting only the firts update for the barn, or just get to the next landexpension. Just make it work for you and hayday has lots off options to find your way.

My mother and sister are also HD addicts and they also do the town, but have other strategies or priorities. We like to talk about it and compare notes..... And I like te read on the forum and tell them about what I read and learned.

I get "the blues" sometimes too. Mostly it feels like it just gets to be too much organizing a bazillion different product streams and trying to make sure I have some of everything and so frequently being short of sugar and dairy.....
That I just decide I'll just grow and make things for awhile and try to build up my stock of the most premium items.

But then usually within a day I'm excited about the next Event or the Derby or getting my sister's farm to the level where she can help me with some of the sauce products.
Or seeing how well I can get a good fish supply by using nets alone. Etc.
There are always fresh ways to play.

Yes! The little people keep asking for my axes and saws and I only have a handful of each. What the heck?! Only a couple times so far have they asked for wheat. The one girl loves to ask for carrots. What?!

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE REALLY DO NEED WHEAT! SWEET!! It definitely is not a fast way at all to make coins or xp, but for the most part it keeps you busy! It's very ebb and flow. One hour there will be no one that needs it, and the next- boom! Wheat is on the menu!! :cool: In the meantime I am making other products to sell that will make more coins for my struggling farm. Just slowly, slowly, slooooowly right?!??

Yes, slowly, slowly at first. It does pick up, though and don't forget to sell surplus drop items at full price and make sure you have enough to tempt the little people. I had my first million in my forties (level, that is ;) ) and I was never frugal when it came to shopping so I know the power of wheating :)

Hi! Why does it pick up later?? And how long does that take to happen?! I have to kind of laugh watching my coins creep like a snail upwards. And holy the amount of bread and chicken feed! Ooohftee!!
Also, what happens when you have finally acquired enough materials to expand your whatever, and then there aren't any more excesses to sell?? :unsure:
I just Really hope I can make enough to buy that darn next machine. Dangit money!!

Mine really started moving once I got followers. Treat them well and they will hang around and buy your wheat even when you forget to advertise. Check on followers often and look for subtle signs that they need your help. I have some who buy a couple crates of wheat to let me know they need plants watered or boat crates filled. I have some followers who obviously don't want "strangers" visiting their farms and will "tap me on the shoulder" to tend their plants because I have proven myself not to be a stalker or raider, only taking what is offered me when they call me. Also change farms you follow often until you find keepers. Some of them will prove to be super helpful to lower level players, some totally ignore you. You want the helpers! Don't go buying stuff in their shops if you see super cheap prices unless they have come to you first and let you know they want you to have something.

Some people, myself included to a degree, like to keep their bems and sems at fairly equal levels to promote even drop rates. It's not a perfect science as you will always have some items drop more often than others but it does help to get a few of the ones that are rare for you. In keeping numbers fairly balanced, you will always have surplus ;)

Look for boats that need help with bread if you want easy xp. I often fill bread crates and it's not painful to part with if you need to sell stuff to make more room.

Soybeans huh? I haven't considered that one. An idea I could try though for sure! Try, try, try! :o What do you do in the meantime while you're waiting for all the beans to grow though???
And yes-- the little people are ticking me off! Haha. They keep asking for the five axes or saws that I have or my corn or now it's soybeans instead of carrots. Got 2 at once who asked for wheat though. Yay! Hmph. The lull of in-between times. La la la la. Thank you and let me know what you do while you're waiting for your beans!! ;)
