Just out of curiosity.
Has anyone discovered a reason to upgrade earthquake beyond level 1? Seeing as 4 of them take out any level wall no matter what level the wall is or what level the spell is, I can't quite figure out why I should waste X0,000 DE to upgrade it.
Hoping for somebody to give me an explanation.
You only upgrade it for the little bit of extra collateral damage to buildings near the walls you crumble.
As such I would make it low priority. But certainly not never. Every little bit does help.

If you take a look at my recent replay video, the last replay earthquake spells leave a hole where my wall used to be. devastating!
There are 3 reasons to upgrade:
1. It does additional damage to the buildings in the area of effect.
2. If you choose to use fewer than 4 earthquake spells at a time, the additional damage to walls matters quite a bit.
3. If they ever decide to change the way earthquake works when it comes to walls (either to make it take more than 4 level 1 spells or fewer than 4 higher level spells) you will already be upgraded and ready to go.
Having stated all of that, it is still the single lowest priority DE upgrade there is (at least for me). Only when both heroes are 40 and all other DE upgrades are done will my earthquake spells go to level 2 (unless #3 happens before I get around to finishing the other DE work).
