I've edited the doom knight to do 1.5 damage vs walls instead of 2.0 damage, also added in the idea for the spike trap as an additional weakness (though this would affect golems and pekkas too)

Debating over the 1.5 or 2.0 damage enhancement to walls, decided that 2.0 is still a more practical way to set up the troop.... FAQ section explains why.
Also, if both the spike trap and magic bomb get incorporated to act as a balancing tool for the doom knight, having 2 magic bombs on the map would be too much of a counter imo.... so ive edited it to suggest there only be 1 magic bomb, and 2 spike traps.
Max doom knights only have 4,000 hp afterall, so its really strong.... but hardly invincible; ecspecially against higher level defenses
Made some pretty drastic changes to this troop in terms of hp to where it could arguably be considered an alternative meatshield to a golem; also changed it to have a total of 4 levels instead of 3....
Anyone wanna share thoughts on these changes?? Do you think its overall a better troop for th11 or does it seem too powerful?? Its basically a pekka-golem that attacks like a valk lol
Also im thinking of updating the artwork once I get my laptop up and running again... thinking about the color scheme and possibly having him with a cape... open to suggestions on that
Now that I've looked at this thread a few more times, I don't really see anything new that this troop could bring to the game besides a giant Housing Space and extra damage to walls... It is a combination of many other troops, which isn't new, and isn't different from any of the troops in which this troop came from.
I don't feel we need a troop that is giant, can do more damage do walls, serve as a minor tank, or Self Destruct upon death, because we already have troops like this; I don't believe we need a troop with added factors that suggest what is currently made up in modern armies.
Big Housing space/Tank-Golem. Self Destruct on death-Balloon. More damage to walls-Wallbreakers, Minor Tank/Offense-Pekka. This is everything needed in an army, but with less effect and increased housing space. I don't think it would serve too well now that I've looked at it more closely, especially at TH11 since it brings us nothing new accept for all the different troop statistics within.
Appreciate the criticism and your point of view on it, but I really disagree. I think this would be an awesome heavy hitter type troop to add into the game, which in the dark Barracks we have nothing like that yet. Its similar to other troops in certain ways, but still different enough to be a unique stand alone troop that can be used in different attack strategies/army set ups.
Imo its not op, it's similarities just make it easier to use, and overall it'd be a fitting final troop to have at th11
The doom knight could deal splash damage like the mega pekka... Of course less damage, but same area damage.
