I was a big fan of Diablo II back in the day, and I had the necromancer's corpse explosion ability in mind when I pictured the doom knight blowing up

I'd describe the animation for it as a blast of dark purple fire with bits of armor, spikes, and bone splinters as shrapnel

Well of course that kind of ability is not something new, but I was explaining how I wouldn't like it because it would copy a statistic from my troop idea. Maybe instead of having a self destruct feature, perhaps you could have something that completely stops defenses around it for a short amount of time, or have the defense that killed it stop for a certain time.

I agree, make it stop defenses for awhile.. Too similar to our idea....

You just said yourself the idea for a self destruct ability isn't anything new, but your tone here is still suggesting as if I have hijacked an idea from you somehow; I haven't..... I like the Doom Knight the way it is, and I'm not going to tweak anything on this thread unless it's for a legitimate flaw that makes the troop too OP or imbalanced.

I didn't come up the stats for this troop based off anything you or anyone else has posted, so I'm not going to change anything about it just because someone thinks I've copied them in some way.

I'm concerned because I think the SD ability is unnecessary. The Doom Knight has quite a bit of Hitpoints, and definitely has no problem getting through walls. With the easy-breaching aspect along with the DPS, I believe the SD ability would be too powerful; It can get through walls quite easily, and has 280DPS, so destroying structures around it would be easy as well. With the 200DPS explosion when the Doom Knight is killed, I believe it's too powerful.
I know you never intended to copy an aspect of my troop idea, but it is quite rude and unfair to me and Antdroid to keep the aspect in your idea even if you know it's from someone else's...

Again.... I haven't taken anything from you and tried to run with it as my own, I don't even know what your troop concept is.... so there isn't anything rude going on here.... but if you keep trying to suggest I've copied you in some way then that is something I will take as being rude.

As far as the SD being op goes, I disagree. At max level it can only do 250, which is very strong but not strong enough to destroy anything outright on it's own. The ONLY time I see it being somewhat OP would be if someone had it in their clan castle because whatever melee troops are hitting it will probably get taken out when it dies (mainly barbs).... but this only affects ground troops, annnd if someone used a doom knight in their castle it's because they have a max castle (so chances are it's going to fight against higher level troops like pekkas or a witches skeletons), and keep in mind choosing a DK means having no room for anything else.

The Doom Knight takes up 35 army space for just one, and only has 10 movement speed along with a slow attack speed.... these are huge drawbacks, and I think to make these drawbacks worth dealing with the troop you get in return should be as powerful as possible

I have a question; Since the DK will take 5x more damage from magic-type defenses, will Wizards/Witches also deal 5x more damage if they were to be defending in the CC? Or will the Wizard Towers only affect them?

I think the x5 attack damage from wizards would make the Doom Knight to vulnerable and that it should only be x3 or something like that just an idea hope this troop does get added though good luck!
