Why people put their th outside but in range of defenses?

Can someone present to me a reason as to why I see many people do this? You want a free shield, but you don't want people to take your townhall. ♥♥♥. If you're looking for trophies, keep a hybrid/trophy base, but instead they chose such a weird configuration for their base. I just don't getit.

They want snipers to weaken their attacking force to get the Town Hall so they won't try for 2 stars, stealing their loot. Because, if you have a TH on the edge of the map unprotected, what have you got to lose by trying for the second star? Exactly, nothing. That's why people try to make it difficult to get the TH so you don't have enough of your army to attack for the 2nd star.

yeah I dont get it either

it's not even "trolling" with teslas, it joes doesnt make sense to me

If I want the lootz I won't even bother getting the TH, I don't think this really works :eek:

Also, sometimes people go for your loot neglecting your Th & then they end up below 40% with a few troops. If you Th was on a corner, they could easily get the victory. That way, they only get the loot & you get the trophies. Yay! It may sound like it doesn't work well, but it does!

That's because you're kick'n around in the Silvers. Move up to where the loot bonus is 100k+. Then you'll want the town hall Pooh Bear.

yeah I guess that makes much more sense in higher leagues
