I would say a 6. I don't use them very much but they can be very useful on certain bases
İt's so much fun when you put them in th1-6 cc in war and watch fails. Other than that wizards are a better choice.

If you had asked me 2 months ago, I would have said 1. Lately, I have been experimenting with them and like them more and more. I'm closer to a 7 now.
Definitely a 10, funny how some people just say how useless they are when they dont even have level 2 valkyre. Its like having level 1 pekka and level 4 wizard in townhall 9(both useless at 9).

I'd probably say a 1. I never use valkyries and I probably never will because it requires a certain skill and a bit of luck, which I won't ever have. Also, I'm not going to waste DE on an unreliable troop.

Maybe an 8, but keep in mind the only troop that would be a 10 would be the archer (and maybe barbarian would be a 9). Pretty much all troops can be replaced with other troops. I think Valkyries are one of the best troops in the game and absolutely love them (they have the health of giants with the DPS of wizards), but they are extremely underrated because you get them so late when DE is more needed for other things. I would miss Valkyries more than any other DE troop though.

I love valks. They work extremely well with healers (my other fav unit, also a 10). Destroying TH8s left and right with them.
They are irreplaceable for me. PEKKAs have their own advantages but in no way can they replace valks. No speed, no splash, it's just not the same.

Some time ago I would have said 5, because I was never using them but I don't think less troops is exactly what we need.
But lately I've learnt how to use them and now I say 9, because they are awesome when used correctly...
In general, I think we need more troops, not less. Some people will use ones, some others, but this makes a lot more strategies possible, and thus a more interesting game.
I honestly never cooked a single valkyrie
But my clan in war always fill TH6 and lower CC with valks+minions and it's super effective and fun to see other low THs wasting all their archers to take those down
before the poison spell i wouldn't have been to bothered, but their pretty essentiall for war defence now
I use Valks a lot but I would adjust if they were removed.
Id be pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Probly a 10. Anytime i see an base with a huge core shes my number one woman. Valks under a rage and heal in core is a beautiful thing

For me personally, a 8. I would be pretty upset if valks left the game, I have max valks and I use govalo in clan wars. The reason why its only an 8 and not a 10, is because its not going to be the end of the world. There are many other 3 star strategies (such as logowiwi) that would be able to 3 star bases susceptible to govalo, just govalo is the best way for certain bases. If hogs / balloons left the game though, then it would be a 10.

I would have to say 9...if I could post some of the many farming attempts on my th9 from level 7 giant based attacks that just got crushed by a valk/wiz/goblin defense you'd be amazed. Also have my th9 running gowivas in champs 2 right now and finding much better success at consistent 2 stars against 10s than I was getting with gowipes, not to mention the much higehr 3 star rate of any th9 I happen to stumble upon.
How would you react if Hogs were removed from the game, because at this point, it doesn't make any sense to remove an entire troop, building or spell from the game.
Stuff might be nerfed or adjusted to change interest or use, but nothing will be removed.
Valkyries are running mortars .. and it has confused me for a very, very long time when I see fully maxed TH10s with level1 Valkyries ..
At level1, mixed in with a TH8 gowipe type ground attack Valkyries absolutely rule .. they act as a secondary shield and as such add both extra strength and firepower to the attack.
I can fully understand that people neglect their Valkyries, if they don't get in on them early in the game, but it must be one of the most overlooked troops in Clash of Clans.
If you have no other reason to upgrade them than "because nobody else seem to have them upgraded" then you are actually on the right track.. fully upgraded troops for your TH level across the board provides you with a bit more flexibility when putting together an army that takes more than two brain cells (barch, gibarch, etc.)
If Valkyries were suddenly removed completely from the game, I would expect a full refund with interest or the option to keep my fully maxed Valkyries, just because I already have them.

1, Every war raid I have seen that involves Valks, fails miserably. They are WAY too expensive and slow to use for regular raiding. If they lowered the cost to like 40de each and 2 min train time, then they might have a use in the regular raid game.
For war, there are just much better options. If you can 2-3* with valks, you could have done just as good or better with other troops.

I would say 8. At townhall 9 Gowiva was my fave strategy. I think there is already too little army diversity. Taking out valks would make this even worse

reasons? Cuz im a TH sniper, and in war I do Gowipe, or Drag/hog, so theres no need to use em...and they can get kinda annoying when put in the CC.

I use them instead of wiz with my gibarch, wiz r prob more useful but then they take up a barracks so but using Giants arch barbs n valks it's time friendly in saying that valks under lvl 3 rnt that great but at max they go pretty well I use this for when I have both heroes sleeping as well so I'd say 8 out of 10 I'd be upset to answer the question.

8, I like their versatility for defence and offence, if I had max valks I'm sure it'd be a 10 rating. Many people can't use them correctly like goblins, both are criminally underrated.

5 is good enough? No single situation I've seen where I would say ohh if I had valks maxed I would have attacked that base with them. More or less GoWiPe gets same result as GoVaPe which means for me I don't need to care about them for myself but I know some people do care about them. Otherwise it would be 0 lol

Ahh another huge problem with forumers, only caring about things that directly impact them instead of what's good for the game at all.. Everyone tells everyone everywhere else to stop complaining when problems don't affect them rather than discussing ways that are objectively good for the game at more than just their personal TH level. Objectively, to better balance PEKKAs/valks all the player base needs to do is come together and say that TH9s need level 4 PEKKAs so that PEKKAs are not just a TH8 troop at TH9 and are more useful at TH9, and that valks need a new level at TH10s so that 10s aren't trying to fight max tens with TH9 troops.Quote:

10. They are underused, not useless. They are pretty useful at certain th levels. Excellent cc troops for raid defense. They do need another level at th10, but that is true of several units. And many people are attatched to them.
Plus, there really isn't a reason to get rid of them. It's not like they are bad for the game in any way. It would peeve me off just because it would be a pointless thing to do.

Something like a Golem, Wizard, Pekka, Loons, and Lava Hound would be a 10 for me.
But for a Valkyrie, I would say 6.5.
I would rate it higher if Supercell can make some tweaks to them, like decrease the cooking time to 2 minutes and housing space to only 5.

Removing troops is a bad idea, imagine if they decided Dragons or Wizards didn't need to be used.
I played a (terrible) online space game many years ago.
Each week they forced change on players, by changing up the troops (well they were ships, but same idea)
* Most commonly used troop - Removed from game for one week
* Second most commonly used troop - PERMANENT 10% stats decrease
* Third most commonly used troop - 10% cost increase
* Second least commonly used troops - 10% cost decrease
* Least commonly used troops - PERMANENT 10% stats increase
That way they balanced the less used troops over time
Removed troops was pretty funny, as it tended to alternate a particular troop on/off (when it returned people built it as much as possible!)
It meant that people returning to the game after a month had a bit of a struggle getting the game to behave how they wanted.
