I used to hop
Than I learned about skipping

Im lvl 149 clanless for past 8 months...fully maxed th 10 except walls and hero's 8)
I get troops from req n leave clans all the time

A big group of hoppers just look at the chat and think it's not for them, or want to donate troops and leave to boost FIN and make people feel good. A lot of people just visit clans to chat a bit and experience a larger chunk of the community.

I used to go into a lot of different clans and tried to find one that fit me, staying for a few days to see what it was like

A sign of a bad hopper is

1) Requests for troops immediately
2) Asks for Co-Leader
3) Asks when the next war is (not to be mistaken with rules on when they can join a war, just asking to be in a war)
4) Anyone who acts childish in clan chat
5) Anyone who joins an anyone can join clan


Ways to stop bad hoppers

1) Set your clan to invite only
2) Make rules on when you can join war as a new member. They'll leave fast
3) Make rules on when you can start requesting
4) Well that's really it

I do.

I actually spam giants when I am boosting my FIN achievement.
