I just reached TH8 about a week ago and am thinking of going to TH9. I am deciding on this journey mainly because I saw a lot of guides regarding town hall rushing. They said that rushing town halls are recommended for people who raid often. I usually raid about 6-8 times a day and can profit up to 800k.

You're a level 55. Most TH8s go to TH9 at level 90+
Go figure.
6-8 times a day is considered casual. 800k isn't enough for rushing. You should be making at least 10mil to rush this much.Quote:

But I think if you want to benefit from rushing 2-3 mil isn't enough. If he is farming 2-3 mil a day maxing out his current th will be more beneficial.Quote:

Next is that defenses + walls cost around 200mil in 3 months, 200/90 = 2.2mil required per day. 2-3 mil is sufficient to exceed that gap.
So its better to work on TH9 offensive upgrades while finishing up TH8 defenses by rushing to TH9 slightly early, eg. within 2 months into TH8
Personally, I started rushing when I just farmed 3mil per day, it was enough to max skulls within a month into TH8 (it was the time when elixir could be dumped into walls). Then after reaching TH9 and learning about lava walls, my farming shot up to 4-7mil per day due to that increased demand
