What's the equation for figuring out how many 3X3 squares you can build with walls? Im using builder but im sure theres an easier way.
I have no idea what you mean, can you clarify?
well count how many walls there is in a 3x3 square, take the total amount of walls and divide it with the amount of walls it takes to make the square (what th lvl are you?) a th8 can build 18.75 if no walls are shared between the squares
Assuming that you are making multiple compartments that are side by side the equation would be 11n +16 where n represents the number of compartments you are making, if this isn't what you're looking for please specify in greater detail what you mean
Actually the revised equation is 11n + 16 = #of walls BUT
n represents the number of compartments MINUS one, due to the fact that the +16 is the original compartment. So if you're doing 16 compartments the equation is:
11n + 16
=11(15) + 16 - 16 compartments minus the one, so 15
=165 + 16
=181 walls for 16 square compartments (ASSUMING THEY ARE IN A STRAIGHT LINE)
If the box compartments form a box its an all new equation I must make.
Nope, I want them in a box shape, either 4 rows by 4 columns or 3 rows and 3 columns or something in between.
Stay in school. :D
Actually this isn't even algebra I think. With all the angles 90 degrees you don't even need to use trig or geometry.
The answer depends on the overall shape of your base so it's impossible to answer as you've phrased it.
So the base will be like 69 compartments making a 3x3 square? 3 compartments by 3 compartments? I can make a formula for that.
And the math isn't that hard :P I learned it in grade 9
