I actually commented on it a while ago. Maybe under a different account. There would just be an additional 5 at the end of my current username. It sort of confused me. Does it protect itself as well, or just other troops. If so, it would die extremely quickly once targeted by any defense, and that's quite a loss, considering it requires twenty housing space. Maybe it should create the aurora every four seconds for four seconds, and it should protect itself as well. I would also say the speed increase needs to affect it so it can keep up with the troops. I really do like the spell as it currently stands. I think it would pair well with the haste spell, in order to create a more specialized sort of rage spell. I wouldn't even mind seeing those damage to defenses statistics going up.
Nice idea, But I feel It's another idea that's been tweaked off the Inferno Spell/Volcano Mage/Drought Spell Ideas.
Also what happens when the defense is splash damage and hits 2 or more different types of troops at once? that could be OP in defense after the spells duration.
So between Golem, Wizard, Witch and Pekka, golem would be affected. Right?
First I want to commend you for not only explaining your idea thoroughly but also presenting it well while taking many of the comments to help tweak and improve upon your original idea.
I think there is good potential for this spell. It differs enough from rage as it doesn't just increase dps of your troops, it decrease the health of defensive buildings but only within the spell radius. While it gives your troops a bit of a buff, as long as you can find a balance it also has just 1 slot versus 2 for rage.
