I would say yes. Once you start neglecting them, you never catch up. End up being a TH10 with weak walls.
you you can max your walls and keep all builders busy do it, but if youre just stuck on full elixir then upgrade to th 9
If you want to go for legos/lava walls at TH9, then most definitely max your walls at TH8. If you plan not to do that and you have completely maxed your offense, then you can upgrade to TH9 if you want.Quote:

It's very frustrating those skull walls, I suggest moving up once builders are idle or all dark troops are maxed.
If you left them for last you will be bored doing them. I would suggest getting them done before you go up but Thats just me.Quote:

Yes, they are pretty easy and they will open the door for you to upgrade walls with elixir.
Also, upgrading walls to lvl 9 is as easy as upgrading them to lvl 8. Theoretically.

I would say yes max ur walls before moving up I'm a new th9 and I really think it was worth it I have 10 lego walls and the rest skulls.
